Whoever survives the first momentum swing
The rhythm belongs to Knutson — first serve, forehand, an early step into the second ball. That is precisely the delivery that betrayed Lys twice in Ohio, and Knutson has been returning from inside the baseline all week.
Lys will stand close and hammer the backhand channel, and if she sustains that for two hours she wins comfortably. But sustaining is the exact thing she has not done lately, and a player rested into rust rarely outlasts one who has been sharp for three rounds. The underdog price looks generous.
