Swiatek controls matches, though not every passage

Podoroska’s first round was considerably less tidy. She recovered to beat 89th-ranked Simona Waltert 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-3, surviving repeated breaks and lost advantages. The serve remains vulnerable, but her rally tolerance, stamina and willingness to restart after setbacks have returned.
Four conceded games is a narrow allowance
Swiatek should apply immediate pressure to Podoroska’s second serve and spend much of the match inside the baseline. Still, Under 16.5 requires an exceptionally neat scoreline: in a straight-sets win, Podoroska can take no more than four games.
That leaves little room for Swiatek’s occasional mid-match dip or one loose service game.
